Job Summary

The Compliance Associate is responsible for conducting all necessary government compliance submissions by coordinating with the concerned personnel, internal departments or government agencies.

Tasks

Duties and responsibilities

  • Supports the Regulatory Compliance Department with respect to ALL BIR compliance requirements of the group;
  • Conduct regular fieldwork to BIR Large Tapayers OfficerSubmit branch applications for Authority to Print (ATP) and comply with any additional requirements as may be needed in order to release the Printer’s Certificate of Delivery (PCD);
  • Comply with renewal of books of accounts of branches;
  • Receive and submit BIR correspondences;
  • Submit BIR reportorial requirements sent from Ortigas Office;
  • Other tasks may be deemed necessary.
  • Close coordination with the Regulatory Compliance Specialist and other Compliance Associates;
  • Ensures timely compliance of submission of ALL requirements sent;
  • Safeguards and keeps records of all submitted government documentary requirements of the company, including documents of the other business units;
  • Provides assistance and responds to queries of internal departments to make sure the completion and submission of all pertinent requirements are complied with;
  • Accomplishes other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Must have

Job specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any four (4) year business course or accounting-related course.
  • At least one (1) year administrative work experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite applications.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Organization and analytical skills needed.
  • Experience with handling BIR transactions is a plus
